2,000+ acre industrial park raising concerns from neighbors

SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) - A more than 2,000 acre industrial park in parts of San Marcos and Martindale is inching closer to breaking ground on construction. The project for the massive acreage is called The San Marcos Air Rail and Truck Terminal (SMART). Developers said they chose the location because of the dramatic growth in the Austin-San Antonio I-35 corridor. Target Center continues to be a not-so-friendly confine for Minnesota.Wednesday’s 104-102 loss to the Celtics marks the Timberwolves’ fifth-straight home loss. Minnesota hasn’t won in Minneapolis since Feb. 5.Wednesday’s loss wasn’t for a lack of effort. The Wolves and Celtics engaged in a defensive slugfest flush with physicality. The Biden administration has demanded the Chinese owners of TikTok sell their stakes in the social media app or risk a possible ban in the U.S., the company told The Hill on Wednesday.The Wall Street Journal first reported that the U.S. Treasury-led Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) made the push. SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- At approximately 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Schenectady police responded to 1773 State St. for reports of a stabbing on a CDTA bus. When police arrived, they determined a 23-year-old man suffered slashes to his head and torso. He was transported to Albany Medical Center and is in stable condition. The Colonie Police Department assisted in the investigation by pulling over a CDTA bus near Osborne Road and evacuating its passengers. Currently, there is no suspect in custody. LOUIS - Prayers continue for the Hermann police officer who survived a deadly shooting Sunday night.“It’s day by day,” Michelle Sullentrup, the wife of officer Adam Sullentrup, 31, said on Wednesday.Det. Sgt. Mason Griffith and Adam were shot during a confrontation with a man at a Casey's general store late Sunday evening. MILPITAS, Calif. (KRON) -- Thirteen inmates overdosed on fentanyl at Elmwood Correctional Facility, and three staff members were impacted after being exposed to the drug while treating the inmates, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office. Stanford employee arrested for allegedly making false claims of two rapes on campus The first incident was reported on March 8 when two inmates were found to have serious medical emergencies. Sheriff's deputies and jail medical staff administered Narcan to both inmates before they were taken to a local hospital for further treatment. The sheriff's office says that both inmates were considered stable when they were taken from the facility, and they have now returned back to the jail. One of the deputies who responded to the initial call was affected in the incident, and he started showing signs of fentanyl exposure.
