ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Days after shutting down its water treatment plant over ammonia concerns, the City of St. Charles has reopened the plant and is once again providing drinking water to residents. St. Charles city officials shut down the Elm Point Water Treatment Plant last weekend when its last operational well experienced "a drop in the free level of ammonia in raw water." Free ammonia is essential because it serves as the primary disinfectant in St. Charles’ water system. Multiple people quit within hours at Jennings City Hall According to a news release from the City of St. Charles, the St. Louis Regional Office of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources inspected the site after some follow-up procedures and gave the City approval to resume drinking water production late Tuesday evening. Russell Wilson, Broncos offense sense growing confidence: “I think it’s all coming together”

Published Thu, 06 Mar 2025 04:20:16 GMT

Adam Trautman made perhaps the play of training camp so far for the Broncos offense on Wednesday morning.Going over the middle in the red zone and diving for a tight-window throw from Russell Wilson, Trautman snared the ball with his left hand and pulled it in among heavy traffic. The catch itself was eye-popping.The throw might be even more instructive about where Denver’s offense and its quarterback are making progress as the second of three preseason games approaches.Wilson made plays in the passing game during the preseason opener over the middle of the field, an area that he’s been less productive in over the course of his career, and he did it again Wednesday. To Trautman, he fired a ball into a spot on time and came away with a touchdown for it.“The guy’s back was turned and I just kind of whistled it in there and he made a great catch,” Wilson said after practice. The best indicators are clearly in-game situations — Denver’s No. 1 offense started slow Friday night at Arizona, b...

The Denver Catholic Archdiocese along with two of its parishes is suing the state alleging their First Amendment rights are violated because their desire to exclude LGBTQ parents, staff and kids from Archdiocesan preschools keeps them from participating in Colorado’s new universal preschool program. The program is intended to provide every child 15 hours per week of state-funded preschool in the year before they are eligible for kindergarten. To be eligible, though, schools must meet the state’s non-discrimination requirements. The Denver Archdiocese, St. Mary Catholic Parish in Littleton and St. Bernadette Catholic Parish in Lakewood filed suit against Lisa Roy, executive director of the Colorado Department of Early Childhood, and Dawn Odean, director of Colorado’s Universal Preschool Program, on Wednesday. The Denver Archdiocese and the Colorado Department of Early Childhood could not immediately be reached for comment.“The Department is purporting to require all pr...
